Armin van Buuren is coming to the Aragon

Coming up this Friday, October 9th, 2009, the Aragon in Chicago, Illinois is hosting one of the most respected and talented DJs on the face of the earth.  He hails from Leiden, the Netherlands and has been spinning for more than ten years.  His career in music actually started while he was studying his way through law school when music took over his life.  He has since dabbled in production as well as performing his beats live making a name for himself all over the globe.  He is consistently ranked as the number one DJ in the world and after just a few seconds of hearing his work you will be quick to agree.  So this Friday night make sure you find yourself at the Aragon in Chicago to see the one and only Armin Van Buuren spinning live.

Performing with another fantastic DJ named Glenn Morrison, these two DJs are on the Cirque 2009 tour and are making only a handful of stops in the states.  On this tour these guys will be hitting cities like Denver and Las Vegas but are playing only a hand full of domestic shows.  The Chicago land stop is one of the only Midwest shows and could not come at a better venue than the Aragon.

The Aragon Entertainment Center is a unique venue in and of itself.  The Aragon was designed to replicate a Spanish palace courtyard.  This venue is complete with crystal chandeliers, mosaic tiles, terra-cotta ceilings, and beautiful arches throughout.  The venue can hold anywhere from 700 to 1,400 people based on the overall arrangement allowing for a multitude of live shows and private events.

A pair of brothers named William and Andrew Karzas built the Aragon in 1926.  The venue, even in the year 1926, cost an astonishing two millions dollars.  The name even comes from Spanish descent and was built into in a cluster of lucrative proprieties in the Chicago land area.  The venue is still hosting some of the biggest names in the business and this Friday is no different.

The show this Friday has ticket prices ranging from $45 all the way up to $100 for front row tickets and VIP access.  The event is an 18+ event and the music kicks off at 9:00 PM.  But if you cannot make it to the Aragon that early do not worry, as the music will be spinning until 3:00 AM.  You can buy tickets by clicking here.  I hope to see you this Friday at the Aragon in Chicago, Illinois for Glenn Morrison and Armin van Buuren for Cirque 2009.
