Tiësto and Ummet Ozcan Release “What You’re Waiting For”

On this new collaboration from Tiësto and Ummet Ozcan, the Dutch pair came together to produce one of the year’s freshest new tracks, “What You’re Waiting For.” Known for exploring the darker side of electro, Ummet Ozcan pulls no punches when helping to cook up this epic release. The song’s fast-paced flow features plucky key strokes, a bouncy bass line, and vocal samples ranging from robotic to demonic.

Voted “The Greatest DJ of All Time” by Mixmag and No. 1 DJ by Rolling Stone, GRAMMY award-winning artist Tiësto is a worldwide phenomenon. Along with his hit singles “Wasted,” which was recently certified platinum in the U.S., and “Red Lights,” which was certified gold in the U.S., Sweden and Canada, Tiësto’s resume also includes a GRAMMY for his remix of John Legend’s “All of Me.” Most recently, the producer released “Wombass” featuring Oliver Heldens and “Making Me Dizzy” featuring Bobby Puma. He is currently traveling around the world performing at some of this year’s largest music festivals as well as at his residences in Las Vegas’ hottest clubs, Hakkasan and Wet Republic, located in MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

Dutch-Turkish DJ/producer Ummet Ozcan had been in the electronic music game since 2007. Starting off producing in the tech-trance genre, Ummet has since moved on to making massive dark electro tracks that still feature hints of his trance roots. In 2013 Ozcan released “The Code” which was a huge hit and helped propel him to the top of the charts and have his records supported by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Calvin Harris and Hardwell. In 2015 he released “Overdrive,” his collab with Calvin Harris and “The Hum” in collaboration with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. A No. 1 record that came with a $1 million music video with guest appearances of Charlie Sheen and Jean Claud van Damme.

Ozcan is continuing his domination of the electronic music scene in 2016 with the releases of “Wake Up the Sun” and “Spacecats” and shows no signs of slowing down.
