GREY GOOSE World Par 3 Championship Signature Cocktail: Golden Goose

GREY GOOSE World Par 3 Championship Signature Cocktail: Golden Goose

My good friend Paul Adams is the director of golf at Turtle Hill Golf Club at Fairmont Southampton. This course hosts the annual GREY GOOSE® World Par 3 Championship and he’s been bugging me to come visit for years. Living in Scottsdale, it just never worked out. But now that I live in Southwest Florida, it makes it easier to access. This year I agreed to go and I’ll be playing in the #WorldPar3.

I’ve been getting excited leading up to this event and Paul keeps sending me nuggets to keep me on edge. While on the island I’ll be driving The Twizy, a cute scooter-like mode of transportation. Unless you live on the island, you can’t rent a car. But driving this little guy, who would want a rental car?!

Last week Paul sent me a video promoting the event and a signature cocktail made with GREY GOOSE vodka, loquat and and a beautiful loquat liqueur. Check this out:

I can’t wait to try this drink. It sounds delicious and I really like vodka. Especially a high end vodka like GREY GOOSE. If you want to make it at home, you can find a list of ingredients and recipe below:

4 cl GREY GOOSE Vodka
2 cl St-Germain® Elderflower Liqueur
2 cl Bermuda Gold® Loquat Liqueur
1 cl Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

Method:
Add GREY GOOSE vodka,St-Germain® Elderflower Liqueur,Bermuda Gold® Loquat Liqueur, and freshly squeezed lemon juice into a wine glass. Add a large scoop of ice to fill the wine glass and create a beautifully frosty cocktail. Top with soda water. Garnish with fresh slices of loquats. Stir gently to combine ingredients.

Doesn’t that sound delicious!

On this trip, I’ll be checking out the Swizzle Inn, hitting up North Rock Brewing Co., playing The Mid Ocean Club, playing Turtle Hill Golf Club multiple times, visiting Bacardi, staying at Fairmont Southampton… It sounds like an unforgettable event and I’m honored to be included.

Tip of the cap to Paul for the invite and continuing to invite me until I said yes. I’m not even there yet and I can’t wait to touch down. I don’t care what I shoot, I am just excited to be headed to Bermy. Wish me luck and check out the hashtag #WorldPar3 to follow along.
