I had only been living in New York for a few years. I moved here when I was 18 for college, but after a few semesters I realized that higher education wasn’t for me. I already had a good job, and I adored my apartment. It was a cute little studio on 5th avenue with a great view of the city. I actually got a great deal on the place, and was only paying $1,250 a month. That included water, trash, and the electricity. The landlord was great.

This video has nearly 6,000,000 views and has received a ton of comments/likes/dislikes. Watching this, I don’t know if I should “like” it because the guy caught him on camera or if I should “dislike” it because the dude threw his monitor. Regardless, stuff like this makes me mad and I am glad that he got caught. Funny thing… a lot of people in the comment section are talking about UPS. They also released a video [...]

Hoover is also responsible for fingerprinting… it was actually pretty funny, as when they were going over this in the movie people were mocking him, making fun of this concept. That concept is used today, and has managed to put justice to endless crimes. Not such a bad idea after all! It was just neat to see all of these things that he was responsible for. That… and the Federal Bureau of Investigation! That’s a pretty big deal, if I do say so [...]

This is where Conan The Barbarian begins. Conan is literally born into the battlefield and fighting seems to be all he cares about, except for his father played by Ron Perlman. Perlman is only on screen for a short amount of time but he appears to be bored teaching his son how to become the ultimate warrior. His village, and his father, are destroyed by a deadly warrior by the name of Khalar Zim, who just wants the missing piece of a mask so he can [...]

Before he was attacked, he was with a bunch of buddies out drinking and having a good time. He left later that night and was soon attacked by a group of guys. But what gets me is that after he went though all that, and was beaten up… he was hit by a cab! I mean, as if it couldn’t get any worse. Sure, hit me in the face a few times. Kick me while I’m down… but then I get hit by a taxi? There is just nothing good to say about this. I did hear he was released from [...]

Before I get too far into this one, let’s take a moment to talk about the first two. The first Transformers movie was incredible, pushing the limit with big fight scenes, cars that transformed into the Autobots (hence the name of both the movie and the machines) and just the sheer “in your face” factor. The second one, however, felt rushed, had some pretty weak acting, and a storyline that felt unfinished. Now we move to a third, and hopefully final, chapter. Ehren Kruger, who [...]

When I was growing up, I listened to a lot of rap music. From guys like Tupac to Dr. Dre, Eminem (his early stuff of course) and Snoop Dogg I was always obsessed with the beats. The lyrics were decent, at best. I didn’t listen for the lyrics. Now, the older I get, lyrics matter more than ever before. (Don’t tell my mom, she hates this stuff!) When I met Dro Man (through Facebook actually) I was immediately impressed with his lyrics. His beats are great too. One thing that I like about [...]

The script is great. I loved the story. Imagine being a normal guy, just making your way through life… when all of a sudden, you are chosen by a ring (yeah, I know) to be a protector of planet earth. There are several parts that put the world into perspective of the “what if”. What if there is life on other planets. Life that is so much smarter than us, so much beyond us. I typically don’t like movies like this, as I prefer things that are real and could really happen. But [...]

Let’s go back to the acting for a second. The movie featured Chris Hemsworth as Thor (anyone know another movie he has been in?), Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, and Kat Dennings. So there are a few big names in here, but they never have the chance to show off their talents. I like Natalie Portman, and love Anthony Hopkins, but their roles in this film just didn’t fit. Most of the movies Kat has been in are comedies… and sure enough, nearly [...]

Earlier this week I shared with you my full review of Fast Five, the latest installment of the Fast & Furious series. While the movie was not that good, there were several things that caught my attention after the fact. For instance, the fact that half the characters in this film were new to Dom, the character played by Vin Diesel. Yet in the movie, he loved them like family and was willing to risk his life for them. But that’s not all; there are several things that didn’t [...]
