Aloha! from Coachella Valley Brewing Company

Aloha! from Coachella Valley Brewing Company

Aloha! I was recently in Palm Springs for the Troon 2014 Western Regional Sales & Marketing Summit. The summit was at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in sunny, and hot, Rancho Mirage, California. We left Scottsdale on Monday and spent the next three days there. It was great seeing everyone, and meeting people that I had only emailed with in the past.

Artist Interview: 1-on-1 with The Crystal Method

Over the years I have had the chance to meet a lot of interesting people. I started interviewing artists when I lived in Indiana and have done interviews in person, over the phone and via email ever since. When I reached #500, I wanted to make it special. It is my pleasure to introduce you to The Crystal Method.

Artist Interview: 1-on-1 with Dale Chihuly

Dale Chihuly, known for his incredible blown glass masterpieces, had several pieces on display at the Desert Botanical Garden from November of last year through May of this year. Chipotle Mexican Grill: Gourmet Burritos and Tacos

Chipotle Mexican Grill: Gourmet Burritos and Tacos

Earlier this week I went to Chipotle Mexican Grill for lunch. I normally don’t eat like that, but I missed breakfast and I justified the gigantic burrito. My buddies Matt Rust and Benji Craig would be proud of me. I am pretty sure they spend more money at Chipotle than they do on their mortgages.

Dove Creek Lodge: The Jewel of Key Largo

Dove Creek Lodge: The Jewel of Key Largo

Before we moved to Arizona, we took a trio to Orlando, Florida. We wanted to see Walt Disney World and explore some of the parks in and around Orlando. (I just heard today that Walk Disney never got the chance to see Disney World… Imagine that.) After we left Disney we drove south, and hit several cities along the way.

A State of Trance at Marquee Las Vegas

A State of Trance at Marquee Las Vegas

Armin is our favorite DJ and we have seen him several times. The last time we saw him was in Chicago, but I really like Marquee, and have seen several big names there. I like hanging out in The Library upstairs. It is a little bit quieter, and not as crowded as the dance floor.

Phoenix Film Festival Review: The Trouble With The Truth

Phoenix Film Festival Review: The Trouble With The Truth

I’m not sure, but this could possibly end up being my favorite film of the festival this year. It’s definitely in the top three. It’s funny, because The Trouble With The Truth is a simple movie, but also quite complicated. The majority of the movie is basically a conversation between a couple that was married for 14 years and then divorced.
