Fact Based Instruction & Banter with Andrew Marr

Fact Based Instruction & Banter with Andrew Marr

Where would I be without Twitter? I wouldn’t know half the people I know. I met this guy on Twitter too. We were following each other for a while, and I had the chance to meet him down in Orlando at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show. I love this guys… he is funny, always has a smile on his face, and says, “mate” all the time.

Three Floyds Brewing Company: Tasting New Beers

Three Floyds Brewing Company: Tasting New Beers

Last week we went to Chicago. I love going to Chicago because that means we get to stop by Three Floyds on our way home. Three Floyds is one of the best breweries in the world, and some websites vote them as the best of the best. They do make Dark Lord, a beer that has an entire day dedicated to it. It’s called Dark Lord Day. Go figure.

Aaron Olson Golf: Excel. Develop. Learn.

Here is another professional I met on Twitter… that seems to be a trend for me lately. I have been chatting with this guy online for a while now, and finally had the chance to meet him at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show. We met at the Brick House Tavern + Tap, started talking, and the time just flew by. We have stayed in close contact since, and I just knew I needed to learn more about him and his career. He is currently at The Raven Golf Club in Phoenix, working with Megan Padua, Jeff Ritter, and Martin Chuck. If there was such a thing as a “dream team” in golf instruction… it would be this.

Brad Real: letters.to.the.editor Album Review

Brad Real: letters.to.the.editor Album Review

Brad Real has been making a lot of noise around the Circle City. Brad is a local rap artist that spits some of the most honest and meaningful lyrics of any rapper I know. I have said it before, and I will say it again… the thing that impresses me most about Brad is that he doesn’t use profanity in his lyrics. Rap music and profanity usually go hand in hand, and even when I was listening to this album for the first time I was waiting for it. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few thrown in here and there… but not enough to constitute a warning on the front of the disc.

Teeing Off with U.S. Amateur Champion Kelly Kraft

Last year I worked on an Internet marketing campaign for the 2011 The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship. It was the first time I had heard of the event, but after spending several months obsessed with [...]

Go Hawaii: The Magic Isle of Maui

Go Hawaii: The Magic Isle of Maui

I am getting cabin fever… I need a vacation! I haven’t been on vacation since last November, and while some of you might think I travel a lot… well, I do. I love to travel. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine. I like to see the world, and every trip is a new adventure for me. I have a goal to see and spend the night in every country on the planet before I die. I am sure there are countries out there that I have never heard of, but that’s the beauty of it. It’s an adventure! Even traveling to the islands of Hawaii was an adventure.

Quality Instruction For All with Rob McGill

These PGA professional interviews are so much fun for me. There is just so much talent out there, and it’s an honor for me to meet and work with these guys. I actually met this guy in January down at the PGA Merchandise Show. I had been connected with him on Twitter for a long time, but had no idea what he looked like. When we met, it was like we had known each other for years. We have since stayed in close contact, and I love what he is doing at Stones River [...]
