Today, dance music superstar Dirty South presents a massive new release on his Phazing Records label from emerging talent Michael Brun and Special Features entitled Synergy. The title Synergy signifies the unison of their innovative signature sounds and high production ability that results in a beautiful progressive song full of intensity, energy, and originality. With striking drums, a melodic and emotional build, and hard-hitting drop, Synergy is a song that will remain in your memory and in the sets of the world’s greatest DJs for quite some time.
“I think Synergy turned out to be a fitting name since the track combines the best aspects of the Special Features sound and my own in order to create something completely new. Even though he produces from his dorm room at Davidson College, he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in EDM, including Avicii, Dirty South, Thomas Gold, AN21 and Max Vangeli, Nadia Ali and more. Special Features is a 21 year old producer from London, England and Synergy marks his first official original release. He’s received international acclaim and attention from hundreds of blogs and publications with unofficial remixes of Deadmau5’s Strobe, Calvin Harris’s Feel So Close, and an official remix of Dada Life’s Happy Violence. His Strobe remix went to number one on Hype Machine’s popular chart and was one of the most “HEARTed” songs of the year with over “10,000 HEARTS.” His Feel So Close remix gained support by some of the biggest DJs in the world and was heard at festivals such as Coachella and the Ultra Music Festival. Special Features also WON Dada Life’s Happy Violence contest and his remix received international attention and support.
