[On “Last Day” video] “While the track itself is a masterclass in UK-garage-inspired vulnerability, the new visual adds a cinematic layer to the project’s evolving narrative. It effectively bridges the gap between Martyna Kubicz’s raw songwriting and her intricate production style.” – KALTBLUT Magazine
“With ‘Hope,’ and now with the release of its official music video, MIN t begins to outline the emotional tone of the music she will be sharing in the coming months.” – Metal Magazine
“With ‘Hope,’ MIN t proves once again why she is one of Europe’s most compelling and forward-thinking artists: fearless in her experimentation, meticulous in her craft, and utterly unafraid to make music that resonates on both a visceral and cerebral level.” – LOCK Magazine
On Shot to Pieces (album): “Martyna Kubicz is a master of discomfort set to music. Existential crises characterize the second album she recorded under the name MIN t. It sounds wonderfully shot to pieces.” – tip Berlin
Artist-producer extraordinaire, MIN t has released her third album, Before The After, on May 8, 2026. In the run-up to the highly anticipated record, MIN t shared two singles, namely “Hope” and “Last Day,” with the former accompanied by a music video which premiered on acclaimed tastemaker, KALTBLUT Magazine.
MIN t has supported globally-renowned artists such as HVOB, Angel Haze, Jess Glynne, and Vitalic. She has performed over 300 live shows at prominent festivals across Europe, including Reeperbahn Festival, Off Festival, Orange Warsaw Festival, Open’er Festival, and Y Not Festival. Additionally, MIN t embarked on a European tour last November with singer-songwriter Saya Noé and electronic pop producer OIEE, where they performed in Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Warsaw, Wrocław, and Bochum.
MIN t is the electronic music project of singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and mix engineer Martyna Kubicz. The Polish-born, Berlin-based artist had previously graduated from the Berklee College of Music campus in Valencia, Spain after receiving a scholarship at the celebrated institution. MIN t’s musical journey has been years in the making, as she started studying classical piano from the age of seven, and spent 12 years at a music school in Wrocław, Poland. At the age of 16, MIN t started writing her own songs and participating in local bands after discovering a newfound love for jazz, pop, soul, and electronic music as a teenager. When she turned 18, MIN t started learning more about music production, and quickly fell in love with the digital audio workstation, Ableton, which allowed her to express all her musical ideas in a new way. MIN t describes her sound as genreless, but that it can loosely be defined as an amalgamation of electronic music, pop and RnB, while drawing inspiration from artists like Aphex Twin, Autechre, Charli xcx, D’Angelo, FKA twigs, and Aretha Franklin.
Accompanying the album is the title track, “Before The After,” which will serve as the album’s lead song. The track is a hard-hitting ode to a wild night out, where drum and bass inspired percussion is paired with a gnarly bassline and an energetic vocal performance on the chorus. Swelling synths create an uncertain atmosphere that leaves the listener eager to know what the rest of the album will sound like. Tracks such as “Hope,” “Last Day,” and “Water” see MIN t explore a more vulnerable side to her artistry with emotive songwriting over UK-garage-inspired beats. “Digital Flower” is a standout example of how innovative MIN t can get with her production when she wants, with glitchy, granular textures shining on this track. On the song “Hangover,” MIN t experiments with reggaeton percussion, further showcasing her genre-bending skillset.
Before the After tells the story of a tainted world where hope is becoming harder and harder to find. Each song strips away another layer of my belief in a better tomorrow. I explore themes of apocalypse, self-destruction, and toxic relationships, as reality itself begins to fall apart. Yet, on the ruins of that reality, I still see a chance to reclaim my agency. For me, becoming aware of my own mistakes is the first step toward change, and transformation can ultimately lead to regaining control over my own life. Sonically, the album is a fusion of bass music and RnB, where I experiment with different styles and textures, pushing boundaries while staying emotionally raw and honest.
