FTampa should be awarded “Sensei of the Year.” He proved himself as an effective teacher by educating his student, Sex Room, so effectively that the two were able to join forces in their upcoming Revealed Recordings collaboration “Need You.”
FTampa defined his sound so eloquently that his track “Strike It Up” became the only non-Tiësto track to be featured on Musical Freedom’s “Top 10 of 2015” compilation. With his cup of knowledge overflowing, FTampa wanted to give back and empower his Brazilian community.
Felipe taught Leandro music production in Brazil, before he broke into the dance music circuit. Now they’re both dominating festivals and clubs around the world. The two have a DOORN Records collaboration out now called “Lifetime” which bounces with chip-tune vocal cuts. Listening to “Need You” and listening to “Lifetime” shows a newfound sensitivity from the student-teacher team.
The Brazilian duo gives Revealed Recordings a tropical breeze with this progressive release. “Need You” is built from a soulful vocal sample that gets pitched up and down as the song builds. Melodic piano fills shoot across the track like meteoroids while the plucking melody foreshadows the drop. Get familiar with this future festival favorite by pressing play!
