Operation Midnight

Hot off the heels of his latest EP Music For My Memories Pt. I, which won support from KCRW’s Jason Bentley and SiriusXM, San Francisco’s Luttrell returns with new single “Operation Midnight”; the lead single from his forthcoming EP Music For My Memories Pt. II.

“I was inspired to write a song that brought me back to the time when I first realized how much I loved dance music. ‘Operation Midnight’ is meant to transport the listener back to the carefree club life that we all know and miss so much,” Luttrell says.

He adds, “For the multi-part Music For My Memories artwork I chose to go with an overarching theme of past, present, and future coinciding with parts I, II, and III. This particular single artwork by James Tralie represents the present – my current life and studio setup here in San Francisco. I sent him a photo from inside my apartment which he took as inspiration to create this very surreal, but also a somewhat accurate depiction of my living room – which doubles as my production studio (minus the ferns and the million-dollar view of San Francisco’s landmark Coit Tower, of course).”

Amassing over 55 million streams throughout his career to date, in recent years Eric has cemented his reputation as one of the electronic music scene’s most exciting acts, having toured the globe performing at Coachella, London’s Printworks, and New York’s Brooklyn Mirage. A much loved Anjunadeep fan favorite, the past few years have seen Eric release two acclaimed LPs, his debut Into Clouds and follow up Lucky Ones, along with a wave of well-received singles and remixes for the likes of Moby, Jai Wolf, Catching Flies and Above & Beyond.

Music For My Memories Pt. II marks the second of a trilogy of works to be shared throughout 2021.
