GRAMMY-nominated producer Party Favor is pleased to announce his new sophomore studio album, RESET, will be released June 17 on Ultra Music. The album’s release coincides with a groundbreaking full-production tour which commences June 3rd in San Francisco.
The 14-track album is an amalgamation of styles, genres and sounds, a true reset on the settings Party Favor may have been boxed into before. Opening up with a literal bang, “With Regards To Your Speakers” was written with the intention of ripping off the bandaid, and setting the tone for the whole project. “Hollow” with DeathbyRomy Dylan describes as his “very own Nine Inch Nails moment” – a sonic journey through brooding, sad, euphoric and epic feels all at once. But then “Too Much” touches on some of the first OG electro records PF had ever heard, while he describes “Spirits Pt. 2” as unadulterated rage music, and a mix of the old and new Party Favor sound. The project completes with “Anxious” – which Dylan says is “a song about saying “f*ck you” to anxiety which myself and a lot of people suffer from.”
The RESET Tour further embodies Party Favor’s evolution as an artist and performer. The all-new live experience boasts a branded and customized stage production, entirely revamped visuals, special guests, and more, while still maintaining the signature rowdy energy that brings every Party Favor show to life. Hitting five cities across the US and bringing a more intimate and personal performance than ever before, the RESET Tour shows the artist born Dylan Ragland embarking on a whole new journey.
With a well-established history of creating chart-topping and genre-defining trap music, garnering half a billion streams across platforms over his catalog, the Party Favor used the global pandemic as an opportunity to take a step back from his hectic schedule, reevaluate himself, and find the time to evolve and grow both as a person and artist that he never had before. RESET presents a distillation of this evolution and shows him striking down a whole new path, demonstrating his keen songwriting abilities, an instinctive ear for melodies, and impeccable dance floor sensibility, all melded together with his signature sounds and some nostalgic rave flair hearkening back to his earliest influences. The album truly is a mental and musical reset for Party Favor as he enters the new era of his storied career, and sees him exploring his most personal and vulnerable themes to date including anxiety, love, and loss.

Well-received by audiences across the globe, both Layers and FRESH LAUNDRY are expertly crafted releases, with the latter showing his growth into new genres by collaborating with the likes of Yung Pinch, Georgia Ku, Wes Period and RUNN.
Expanding his artistic horizons, Party Favor introduced a new club-focused house music side-project in 2019 called SIDEPIECE with fellow DJ Nitti Gritti. Their breakout hit “On My Mind” with Diplo (over 200 million global streams and over 1 million global sales to date) hit #1 on the Beatport charts for 21 consecutive weeks, #1 on USA Dance Radio, was named the #1 most played track of 2020 on 1001Tracklists, and ultimately scored them a GRAMMY-nomination for “Best Dance Record”. The pair has notably performed at Red Rocks, EDC Las Vegas, Spring Awakening, and more, recently sold out their debut headlines at Avant Gardner and The Hollywood Palladium, and has forthcoming appearances at Bonnaroo, Hangout Festival, Electric Forest, Miami Music Week, and many more this coming year.
