The collaborative project LUV HRTS, born from the creative partnership between GRAMMY®-nominated producer Benjamin David (Mild Minds) and Victor Pakpour of alt-indie outfit Ruby Haunt, announces their debut EP Hearts Vol. 1. Released on January 22nd via MOODS INTL., the four-track EP is led by new single “STAY” alongside “U REALLY HURT ME,” “GONNA GET THRU,” and “CAN WE DO BETTER?”
Lead single “STAY” arrives as a heartfelt expression of vulnerability, blending tender lyrics with warm, soothing melodies that capture themes of love and hope. “A heartfelt, personal message to someone deeply cherished,” the track exemplifies the project’s ability to merge emotional depth with sophisticated production. The accompanying music video directed by Mateusz Mazur further emphasizes the intimate nature of the collaboration, adding a visual dimension to the LUV HRTS narrative.

The EP represents the culmination of a series of well-received singles that have established LUV HRTS as a fresh, new voice in electronic music. Their previous releases have garnered significant support from BBC Radio 1’s Future Dance, earned features in Mixmag, Magnetic Magazine, Earmilk, and This Song is Sick, alongside playlist inclusion across Spotify’s New Music Friday platforms. Each track on Hearts Vol. 1 showcases the distinctive fusion of Benjamin’s entrancing electronic productions with Victor’s indie sensibilities, creating a sound that’s both innovative and deeply personal.
“Victor and I have been friends in music for years,” shares Benjamin David. “We started as collaborators on video clips, then began sharing ideas and new music we love. Occasionally we would get together and jam, and one of those days became the song ‘Dopamine’ on my first Mild Minds album. As he started to produce music himself we started bouncing more ideas back and forth, we quickly realized we both loved emotion in dance music and at that moment this project spawned.”
The collaboration brings together two distinct but complementary musical voices. Benjamin David, as Mild Minds, has established himself as a GRAMMY®-nominated force in electronic music, amassing over 300 million streams and touring with artists from Big Wild to TYCHO. Victor Pakpour, as one half of Ruby Haunt, brings a distinctive indie electronic perspective, with the band accumulating over 40 million Spotify streams through their unique approach to minimalistic pop and alt-indie electronic production.
As the first body of work to emerge from LUV HRTS, Hearts Vol. 1 represents a significant milestone for both MOODS INTL. and the artists’ collaborative journey. Each track on the EP demonstrates their shared vision for creating music that balances emotional resonance with dancefloor appeal.
