Techno titan HEVI LEVI has kicked off 2026 with a spellbinding single titled “Evolve with the Dawn,” released on January 15th, 2026 via tN1!. The track is the latest in a string of singles released by the iconic producer over the last two years in the wake of a stroke, underscoring his resilience and persevering commitment to his art. HEVI LEVI’s impact has been remarkable, boasting over 33 million streams across platforms. He has performed from underground clubs to some of the biggest music festivals around the world, namely Tomorrowland, Laundry Day, Escape, Sensation, Space, Futurami, IT, Ministry of Sound, ADE, Pacha, and many more.

The Israeli producer has also received international support from publications such as CLASH Magazine, DJ Mag, Mixmag Brasil, Mixmag Germany, Techno Mood, Electronic Groove, Only Techno, Vicious Magazine, House Music With Love, Earmilk, The Music Essentials, We Rave You, and EDM Nations. In addition to this, his music has aired on BBC Radio 6’s Nemone sitting in for Mary Anne Hobbs, KCRW’s Metropolis’ Jason Bentley, Ibiza Sonica Radio, and Miami Encode Radio, to name but a few. Inspired by greats such as Faithless, Depeche Mode, and Rüfüs Du Sol, his latest offering will ensnare fans of artists like ARTBAT, Kevin de Vries, and Mind Against.

“Evolve with the Dawn” is HEVI LEVI’s most powerful track yet. Dark atmospheres set the tone with grand cinematic vocals before melodic synth lines shoot around like beams of light in a stadium. This tension in the opening surrenders to a thrumming pulse that is gritty and hypnotic, carrying the rest of the song through airy euphoric passages and driving rhythmic hypnosis, adorned with intricate arpeggios and immersive atmospherics.

HEVI LEVI shared: “A real rave never ends before sunrise and it’s such a beautiful view to see people dancing at dawn.”

“Evolve with the Dawn” is out now on tN1!.

DJ & Producer

When PLAYY. Music shared the single “Evolve with the Dawn,” I was hooked. I hadn’t heard of this DJ before, but I quickly went down a rabbit hole on Spotify and fell in love with his energy, heavy basslines, and euphoric synths. His sound is polished and something you can keep on in the background for hours.

New to him and his work, I did some digging and learned he had suffered a stroke and is still in the hospital. I spent some time on his Instagram, reached out, and we instantly hit it off. There’s no doubt he’s been on a long road, but he carries a lot of hope and has a strong personality.

This was such a great interview, and I really enjoyed getting to know him through our conversation. It was also fun learning more about tN1! and all the work he’s been doing.

Hailing from Tel Aviv, Israel, it is my pleasure to introduce you to HEVI LEVI.

Congratulations on the release of your new single “Evolve with the Dawn.” What inspired the track, and what does the title represent for you?
Thank you very much. The inspiration came from a memory I had from a party I played a long time ago at a place called the Forgotten Lake. It’s a lake surrounded by hills in the desert. People danced with their feet in the water, and when the sun came up, it felt like we all woke up from a beautiful dream. It’s a feeling you must experience to fully understand. My latest track brings this vibe to the dance floor.

The track opens with dark atmospheres and cinematic vocals before evolving into melodic synth lines and hypnotic rhythms. What was your creative process like while producing this record?
Like the dawn slowly lights up the darkness of the night, my track builds its vibe from darkness into light with a melody.

You recently went through a very serious health challenge after suffering a stroke. Can you share what that experience was like and how music played a role in your recovery?
Yes, I’m recovering slowly from a brain stroke. For the past two years, I’ve been in the hospital. I have patience, determination, faith, music, and the love of my fans helping me through the recovery process. I have my laptop with me, and making music helps a lot. I actually made “Evolve with the Dawn” here at the hospital between treatments.

Your music has always blended darker techno elements with the energy and accessibility of house music. How would you describe your sound to someone hearing your music for the first time?
My music style is melodic like techno, yet groovy like house. It’s what my spirit craves, and I don’t hold myself back. I never think about styles or genres—the only thing I see in front of me is the happiness of my listeners.

For readers who may be discovering your music today, what are a few tracks from your catalog that you recommend they start with?
I love all my tracks—it’s like asking a father who his favorite son is. I suggest listeners go to my Spotify artist page, press play, close their eyes, and let their body choose.

You were born and raised in Tel Aviv, which has a vibrant and globally respected electronic music scene. How has growing up there influenced your sound and your journey as an artist?
Tel Aviv is a very special place to live, and I love it. If I were to be jealous of anyone, it would be someone visiting Tel Aviv for the first time. I’m actually writing about the city’s nightlife in a book I’m working on here in the hospital.

Who were some of the early artists or records that inspired you to pursue electronic music in the first place?
I was inspired by an eclectic selection of musicians such as Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Jean-Michel Jarre, and more.

At what moment did you realize music could become more than just a passion and actually turn into a career?
I think I knew from a very early age.

Over the years your music has been supported by outlets like DJ Mag, CLASH Magazine, Mixmag, and Electronic Groove. What does that kind of recognition mean to you as an artist?
Recognition is highly appreciated, but it’s most important because it brings more listeners to my music—and that’s why I’m here: to make people happy.

Your tracks often feel very cinematic and emotional. When you start a new production, do you usually begin with a melody, a groove, or an idea for a feeling you want the listener to experience?
Yes, I love the dramatic vibes of cinematic sounds.

Your music has reached more than 33 million streams across platforms. Did you ever imagine that level of global reach when you first started producing?
I never imagined reaching so many listeners, but I plan to reach even more—much more. I believe happy people create good things, and music makes people happy. This is my calling, and nothing will stop me.

You have performed at major festivals and venues including Tomorrowland, ADE, Ministry of Sound, and Pacha. Is there a particular performance that stands out as a defining moment in your career?
I love performing on stage for both small and large audiences. Most of my memories come from my early years. One club that always stands out is Ministry of Sound—I would always love to go back there.

Tell us more about your work with PLAYY. Music. How did that relationship begin, and what excites you most about the collaboration?
PLAYY. Music is a great team and wonderful people to work with, and I’m blessed to have them with me.

You also host the Buckle Up Radio Show. What inspired you to launch the show, and what kind of musical journey are you hoping to take listeners on with each episode?
Looking back at my journey makes me smile when I think about all the artists I’ve helped along the way.

Many DJs talk about the unique energy of the dancefloor just before sunrise. Your new track references that moment. What makes that time of night so special to you?
When a new day begins, it gives everyone new energy. For me, a dawn on the dance floor creates a feeling of being unstoppable.

Your sound continues to evolve with each release. How do you challenge yourself creatively to keep pushing forward as a producer?
I learn from everyone and everything. No track is too small, and no lesson is missed. I truly appreciate new and upcoming artists—they bring a fresh spirit to the industry and teach me a lot.

When you look back at your journey so far, what are you most proud of as an artist?
“Buckle Up” is very special to me. It’s a double opportunity: I get to introduce new music to my audience and also showcase new artists.

For aspiring producers who may be going through difficult moments in their lives, what advice would you give them about staying committed to their craft?
My best advice is: go with your heart. Don’t follow trends, and don’t try to sound like anyone else.

What’s next for you in 2026? Can fans expect more singles, collaborations, or perhaps a larger project on the horizon?
I have many releases planned for 2026, and I’m planning to turn “Buckle Up” into a daily show after my recovery.

Where is the best place for our readers to follow you and stay up to date with your music and upcoming releases?
The best place to follow me for music is Spotify.

Where is the best place for folks at home to learn more about you and listen to your music? Are there specific platforms, websites, or social channels you’d recommend?
The best place for updates is my Instagram channel.

Thanks again for taking the time to do this. Before I let you go, is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers? Maybe something we haven’t talked about that you think people should know?
Thank you so much for having me—I really appreciate it.

In all of the interviews I do, I always give the artist the last word. Go.
Thank you again. I highly recommend that readers check out my next release on May 15th: “I Dominate the Dancefloor.”
