EJ is the exclusive and mysterious resident DJ for the global entertainment brand and race championship, Formula E, as well as one of the freshest talents on Gareth Emery’s record label Garuda.
Touring the world, performing at some of the most exciting venues and parties on the planet, EJ plays hi-octane sets at Ibiza clubs, worldwide festivals including Ultra Music Festival, and during each race to trackside fans, as well as a TV audience of 200 million people. The last few years have turned out to be one hell of a ride for this multi-talented DJ/producer.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Pryda Recordings and Anjunabeats, his sets create the backdrop for an incredible spectacle, building a global following as EJ tours from city to city. His vision was to bring to life the cinematic experience of watching a car race in the movies, giving the race crowds and viewers a real life Fast & Furious Live!
Don’t be fooled though, EJ is not just a Formula E frontman. With a string of successful first releases including “Take Control of Me,” “Ignition” and “Never Say No,” he received huge support from the likes of Oliver Heldens, Thomas Gold, Armin van Buuren, Benny Benassi, Cedric Gervais, and Sander van Doorn to name a few. EJ was then picked up by Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music, and released further tracks “Don’t Take It Away,” “One More Night” and “Fire in Your Heart,” as well as remixing the trance classic “The Theme” for the legendary Jurgen Vries. EJ is now signed to Gareth Emery’s label Garuda, and is already racing ahead with further releases for this year.
