Sheryl and I went to New York City again this year for Electric Zoo 2011. We covered the event last year, and I was bringing just as much, if not more coverage to the table this year. Last year the event was only two days, but this time they made it three packing in more talent, and even more parties. The official after parties, which we missed last year, were a major focus of the trip this time. Each year they work with Pacha NYC and the official after parties are there. We ended up only going one night, on Saturday, as I was scheduled to interview Dirty South before his performance. That was eventually cancelled and moved to after his performance. He wasn’t scheduled to end until 5:00 that morning… and I wasn’t about to wait that long. Anyway, we managed to grab some sweet photos. Electric Zoo takes place on Randall’s Island over Labor Day weekend each year. This year, 85,000 fans came out for the festival.
