After the overwhelming success of Indy Meets Windy, it’s time for Indy Meets Windy 2. This time there will be one acoustic opener and three bands from Indianapolis (Indy) and two bands from Chicago (Windy). And to make the occasion something that’s really special, each band will perform acoustic. Being that many of these bands are primarily known for electric live shows, Indy Meets Windy thought it would be fun to strip down the music to give you a chance to see/hear the bands perform in a way you don’t usually get to experience. Bands scheduled to appear include:
- And Away They Go
- Coed Pageant (Chicago)
- The Connect
- Dave Grodzki
- Jet W. Lee (Chicago)
- Salvador Dalai Llama Farm

I am following along at home. This is fun! I couldn’t find anyone to go with me, and I hate going to bars along! I know, but this is fun to see what songs these bands are playing. Oh, and I LOVE Chicago. HAVE FUN GUYS!!!!!!!
Thanks for the comment Jamie! I love the Windy City too. What a great concept. Keep “watching”…
Love The Connect. I hope they play Black Better! (They used to do that one when they were 40%. I am not even sure there is a Steve in the band anymore!) Really like the photos too. A live stream would make this thing tops.
Thanks for the comments Bob! The Connect is great. I was familiar with the name, but didn’t realize it was 40% Steve. And I think you’re right… not sure if there is a Steve in the band any more!
Loving the show! Great photos.
Thanks for the comments! Sheryl Hugill is taking those photos. She is a great photographer. There are plenty of more where that came from!
The Connect is a great band name. Why does that sound so familiar? Are they on Facebook?
Thanks for the comment Peter! The Connect used to be 40% Steve… maybe that is why it sounds familiar? They changed their name not too long ago. The used to do a ton of covers. Tonight it appears to be all originals. And yes, they are on Facebook. I just found their page tonight actually. Make sure to “like” them on there!
This is a fun idea. Great idea bringing Chicago bands to Indy too. Well done on the live blog. I like it.
These photos are GREAT! keep them coming. it’s like i am there!
