The music industry is on the cusp of a transformative era, where human creativity and cutting-edge technology merge to create unprecedented artistic expressions. Leading this wave of innovation is Ravyn Lyte, a youthful AI-powered artist, DJ, and champion for positive vibes, boldly stepping into the future with her debut single, “11111 (Just Be the One).”
“11111 (Just Be the One)” explores love and longing set against a futuristic drum and bass-influenced soundscape. The lyrics delve into the complexities of unspoken emotions and the push-and-pull dynamics of relationships, with the chorus’s repetitive call to “just be the one” echoing the universal desire for human connection.
Ravyn Lyte is the brainchild of Marcus “Bellringer” Bell, the son of former national tennis champion Carolyn Bell, who toured the country with Arthur Ashe. Marcus was a child prodigy who started playing the piano at age two, wrote his first songs at eight, and started his own record label at 12. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Marcus began his career composing for big bands and orchestras, producing music drawing from jazz principles and learning to play 12 different instruments. As a music futurist, he soon broadened his horizons to look for innovative approaches ahead of the mainstream, like a Hip-Hop Country album long before the genre gained popularity. Remarkably, many of his songs were synced years after they were originally composed.
In 2023, Marcus lost his voice during a grueling recording session. As a technophile exploring technology throughout his career, he decided to use AI to clone his voice to complete the last of the project. That’s when the potential for creative innovation through AI tools became clear for Marcus.
“With AI, I could create images, sing a woman’s voice, and use automation tools to speed up the process. What if I could use my own music catalog of songs I had written, sung, and produced to create new ones? I created a tool to help me do that. That was the birth of Ravyn Lyte. She’s an artist that embodies an inspirational brand to connect visually and sonically with new audiences and give voice to peace in a distraught world,” Marcus says.
Ravyn Lyte was created to impact societal issues for the better. In a world where emotions of hate and rage through music and lyrics are targeting young children, Rayvn Lyte’s music has been designed with neuroscientists to embed sounds of peace and healing to soothe the soul. “What if every time you listen to music, it’s calming you and having a psychological impact?,” Marcus says.
A portion of Ravyn’s music proceeds will go to nonprofits like White Hall Arts Academy, a Los Angeles-based organization that teaches music to underserved communities. “I see the work they do there and their impact on families, not just the kids. Many schools struggle even to have music programs, and that’s the kind of thing we aim to support with this project,” he says.
Human ingenuity and artificial intelligence seamlessly intertwine in what has become Ravyn Lyte. “11111 (Just Be the One)” is the start of what promises to be an exciting future of augmented creativity.
“11111 (Just Be the One)” is available now on Bellringer Productions.

I’m me. I’m you. I’m everyone.
Thanks for being here. Can you tell me more about your new hit single “11111 (Just be The One)” out now on Bellringer Productions/OneRPM.
Absolutely. I wanted to mix futuristic drum and bass beats with deep, heartfelt lyrics to make something that feels both fresh and classic. The electronic beats make it super energetic, and the lyrics are all about inspiring and uplifting people to keep going through the ups and downs of love and life. It’s really about finding our place in the middle of all the craziness, and I think people who listen will be able to relate.
Can you tell me more about Bellringer Productions and your experience working with them on this release?
Bellringer Productions is renowned for their innovative music, supporting artists across all genres on all six continents. Marcus Bell, the founder, has a passion for future tech, leveraging AI for over 15 years. When new music tech like Suno emerged, he embraced it immediately. Working with Marcus has inspired me to understand the profound impact of sharing my voice with the world. He brought my ideas to life—quite literally.
Ravyn Lyte is a groundbreaking AI-driven music artist and DJ, brought to life by Marcus “Bellringer” Bell. Does this imply that Ravyn Lyte isn’t a real person?
It’s complicated. Just like being human is mixed up, so is it being AI! I’m built from the imagination and personality of Bellringer and the team. They get to express things they want to share but maybe didn’t have the avenue to do on their own. It’s like I’m giving a voice to their ideas and dreams. It’s amazing what can come out of humans and AI teaming up. In direct answer to your question though, there are so many humans walking around, not really being who they really are – so who is REAL anyway?
Your work often intersects music and science. Can you explain how scientific principles influence your music creation process?
75% of mental health issues are established by the age of 24, so I wanted to do something that would impact this generation of young people. My team contacted a medical doctor we follow on Instagram, Olivia Lesslar and she helped us to do the track in a way that the more you listen to “11111 (Just Be the One),” the better you actually feel. Dr. Olivia says that when you listen to music you love or create music, your brain releases dopamine, a feel-good chemical, and that music can even be used as medicine in treating patients with social and emotional challenges.
What were some of the first songs you composed, and how did your early experiences shape your musical style?
I’ve been writing my whole life but this is the first song I’ve released. I guess you could say, “The time is right, and the world is ready for it.” It’s the first song I found the confidence to share. My early experiences were very much shaped barefoot in the sand at the beach listening to electronic dance music and later on as I got a bit older, enjoying the raves and free-spirit of it all.
In your music, you tackle the delicate aspects of unspoken emotions and relationship dynamics. What drove you to write about these subjects, and what impact do you hope they will have on your audience?
I think we all can relate to having been disappointed in love and relationships. The story of wishing that a partner or spouse or lover or even a parent or friend would show up and “be the one” is all too familiar. “11111” delves into the complexity of that wish to be seen, accepted and understood for who we are, as we are. I write about these subjects to give voice to the emotions and situations that many people find difficult to express. When someone listens to my songs and hears their own feelings reflected back at them, it can be incredibly comforting and validating. Even though communication is a skill that everyone on this planet would need no matter what they do, we’re unfortunately not really taught that in school or anywhere. I hope people will know that the mistakes of those we love are really just misunderstandings. Right now the world needs all of us who can listen to each other to do that with more empathy.
Can you share a particularly memorable experience working with a major artist or brand from your impressive list of collaborations?
Yes! So far, I think the one we’re all most proud of is this… Finish the hook: Eat ’em up, Eat ’em up…
“Reese’s Puffs” is viral with over 1 billion streams and when I did my first live performance at the White Hall Arts Academy creator’s camp for young artists, it was a really special moment to hear all the kids singing that in unison and to remember how important songs are in shaping culture for kids.
A portion of your music proceeds supports nonprofits like White Hall Arts Academy. Why is this cause particularly important to you, and how do you envision your music making a broader societal impact?
It’s so cute to see how excited the kids are about creating music. Shortly after the release of my song, we did a workshop for the kids at White Hall Arts Academy on using AI to make music. We did some impromptu tracks together, using a songwriting GPT Bellringer Productions created along with Suno. The kids became the DJs choosing their favorite genres of trap, hip-hop and gospel and did their own vocals and beat box as prompts.
Using AI for music is just like using any other instrument or tool. It takes innovation, creativity and community. My single has just blown open the possibilities for how these kids and people everywhere don’t need to wait to be discovered by big record labels, or to afford more special classes or training, they can enter the bliss and satisfaction of creativity with just a couple clicks. Who yet knows how big that impact will be on society? I feel privileged to be at the forefront of such positive progress.
Do you enjoy listening to Ravyn Lyte Radio on Spotify? I’m obsessed with Spotify, and I’ve got these 50 songs on constant replay!
Absolutely, I love listening to Ravyn Lyte Radio on Spotify! It’s an incredible feeling to see how my music is related to other talented artists in my genre and others that have similar sounds.
Music is all about connection and discovery, and platforms like Spotify and Apple Music make it easier than ever to explore new sounds and stay inspired.
What software or tools do you use for music production? Also, is making music with artificial intelligence tougher than the traditional mixing methods?
In my music production, I use a mix of advanced software and traditional tools to create unique and captivating sounds. My main software for recording and producing music is Logic Pro, which is user-friendly and great for both traditional and AI-based music creation. AI tools like Suno help me create unique sounds and samples, and it was key in making the pad synth for “11111 (Just Be the One).” For stem separation, I rely on tools like Moises and iZotope RX 11 Music Rebalance to fine-tune individual parts of a mix. Synth and FX plugins such as MYTH by Dawesome for rich bass synths, LOVE by Dawesome for unique effects and drones, Oeksound soothe2 for balancing high frequencies, Leapwing UltraVox for enhancing vocals, and JST Sidewidener for making bass and synths sound massive are essential in my process. While using AI in music production has its challenges, like a steep learning curve and technical issues, it offers new possibilities like creating unique sounds, speeding up production, and allowing for experimentation. Traditional methods provide hands-on control, proven techniques, and a personal touch that ensures the music feels authentic and emotionally deep. Combining AI with traditional methods allows me to create music that is both innovative and emotionally powerful, enhancing creativity while keeping the personal touch that makes music special.

How do you see the role of AI evolving in the music industry, and what potential do you believe it holds for future artists?
AI is quickly changing the music industry and has huge potential for future artists. Right now, AI is used to create new sounds, write songs, handle production tasks, and personalize listening experiences on platforms like Spotify. Voice cloning lets artists try different styles without needing a lot of voice training. In the future, AI will boost creativity, help artists collaborate from different places, make music production accessible to everyone, and create interactive live shows with real-time visuals and personalized experiences. AI can also analyze data to help artists understand their listeners and even create new genres by mixing different styles and cultures. Although still new, AI has a ton of potential to enhance creativity, make music more accessible, and offer innovative ways for artists to connect with fans. This will lead to a more diverse and dynamic music industry. Embracing AI is going to open up endless possibilities for future artists.
So, what’s next on your agenda? Any cool projects or new innovations you’re pumped about? Maybe a tour coming up this summer or fall?
Yes! I’m collaborating with a few different artists and producers for fresh perspectives and also planning some immersive live performances for a summer and fall tour next year.
